I’ve never heard of that. I don’t carry my long form and have never been asked for it. I have been asked for my wallet card.

That's an easy one. Just carry it always.

Legally a CDL holder does not have to now that it's attached to one's driver license. That said, it's still "best practice" to carry it.Casimir66 and Rideandrepair Thank this.

Long form on file at Carrier. Not required to be carried.

Years ago, Wisconsin pulled me in, for a small chip in the windshield. It was very small, arguably in the line of sight. Anyways the Guy was tough, pulling the regulations book out, and reciting the regs. Should have heard him when he noticed my seal belts weren’t installed. “I can’t let you leave here without seat belts” Lol. 1992 Truck, no shoulder strap. I explained I had put a new seat in, no time to do the belts. Just being honest. He offered to loan me the tools if needed. Let me go after putting the seatbelts in. No violations or tickets. He ended be pretty nice about it. Lol.Dino soar Thanks this.

Seems like my company told drivers to carry the long form . I must have assumed it was required.
