All new solo drivers are scheduled for a breakdown within the first 7 days. Standard operating procedure.

Hell, my first truck was brand new with 21 miles on it when I got it, and I literally made more in breakdown pay in my first 3 weeks than I did in mileage pay. They finally got all the kinks work out... about a week before a Schnieder driver took my entire front end with him while I was asleep.

Now my truck is a 2011 with 240k miles on it, no issues really. I'm sure they're gonna retire it soon though, I'll see what happens when the 20th hits (my 1 year anniversary solo) and see if they ask me to be a trainer or not.

    sewerman Thanks this.
