First NYC delivery

You must have came in very early morning 4am ish. After 7am all the oversleepers are rushing to get to their dead end jobs don’t give a rat’s ### about anyone but theirselves.

 

I went over the GWB for the first time 3 weeks ago. Hit someones and mine folded in. I think it was a CR england truck. He looked at me then drove off. I wonder what he was thinking. Anyone else ever hit a mirror?

 

So much happening he probably didn’t notice. I’ve had my mirrors pushed by another truck but luckily it didn’t damage it just moved it forward. You have to be on top of everything in NYC no day dreaming allowed if you want to keep your job and stay out of jail. A lot of the idiots in bicycles just ride anywhere they feel like it sometimes they’ll cut in the right while your opening up for a tight right turn. You hit them it’s to the pokey with you.

 

I think his mirror was partially in my lane which is why I hit it. He was smoking a cig and looked over at me like I was crazy then looked back forward and continued smoking like nothing happened. I was in the left lane so I was going faster than him but we were both going less than 5 mph. I stopped the truck on the side of the road but he never stopped and my company never said anything so I guess he didnt report it. I dont know how he wouldnt see my mirror folded in though.
