    Yea - Ok...

Apple products are superior to Motorolas'. The Blackberry is not even in the same realm as the iPhone. The Blackberry may have been released first, but the entire market has been chasing the iPhone ever since it was released. Apple also pioneered the MP3 player -- again, companies trying to imitate the iPod.

The whole "Apple had more money to brainwash" LMFAO! I won't even comment on that silly statement; aesthetics, functionality, originality, etc is what sold the iPhone -- not marketing.

    x2 everything Zippy said

In fact I used the "MAPS" app on my iPhone this morning to scope out the route I was using when I was going to leave my drop location being the way out was a different route than the way in.

    TIP:
I'd start off, if you choose to go this route, with the BASIC data plan.
BEFORE you go over, you will get a TEXT telling you that you have used X amount of data. When (if) this happens, just call you service provider and upgrade. You may NOT have to upgrade. Depends on your usage.

I get my data package worth because I use a couple of online radio things and the "MAPS" app wich is like google earth on your phone - PLUS, you can search for a place, find it, it lists the associated phone number, then you can pin the location, share the location (which is a GREAT feature for relaying your position in an emergency, etc), and SAVE the location as a contact - phone number and all. And the next time you need to get there, regardless of where you are, simply go to that contact entry and click on the map it shows as the contact picture and it'll show you there. NEXT you can "route" to it and it'll show you the route. Not truck safe guaranteed of course :)

Same as most of y'all I use my phone for calls, video calls, email, web browsing, an app for this forum haha. I use my phone A LOT! I use Google maps to find the places I go and to see if there's any walmarts or truck stops nearby.

My phone pays for itself in all it does.

Smartphone is a great investment if you are going to use it.....I browse the net on mine more than the computer, use it to stream radio to the truck and as a GPS. All for $90 a month...two phones unlimited data and 800 minutes.

    Wow!

    Someone with some sense.

Instead of thinking about toys to play with, maybe think about what you will need to do your job.

    ???

Anyone who doesn't think Apple changed the game is sorely mistaken. Apple not only changed the game, the rewrote the whole book.

is that why apple has been following microsoft's lead for the past 30 years? also apple got their idea for the iphone ipad and ipod from Palm. If you remember the palm pilot which was the first device of that kind made for business not fun.
