Got a load out of PHX to Henderson, NV. Went through Bullhead City via a 13 mile 6% downhill grade. Put it in 7th and left the Jakes on the whole way down, didn't have to touch the brakes, actually had to throttle up as it was slowing down too much.

The load went to a Costco, talk about truck unfriendly, had to weave through a tight parking lot full of SUV's and minivans (giving me dirty looks) to get to the dock. Only made it with 30 min to spare. I drove solid the whole time, but lost a lot of time on the hills and backroads. I did 3 back-ups, two with no pull ups. I'm getting a lot more comfortable with the truck in traffic, shifting and backing, not nearly so stressful as when I was learning to drive in Riverside, CA..

I head back to a drop in LA area for Monday, so I get another weekend at home...yay!

Gotta love them costco lots that dont leave an easy entrance for trucks. Ive had some really tricky ones before in the detroit area. Some of the minnesota ones were fun to. Easiest costco i ever had was in Indianapolis that one was actually very truck friendly. I just dont understand them places though they know they got a bunch of trucks coming in there almost everyday yet they build the parking lots with medians all over the place leaving it #### near impossible to get in there during the day when customers are there.

Glad to hear things are going well. I'm headed out of Florida tomorrow for Tennessee. Another thing not to forget is loggin your fuel stops. Swift is VERY picky about these. Make sure you're on line four of your log when you hang up the pump, or it's violation time!

    Keep on truckin' driver!
