    Supertrucker definition requires at least:

Run 5000miles per week, average cruise speed 80+mph, use stimulants to stay semi-conscious, regular use of running in a single file bumper to bumper drafting to save fuel, and, oh yeah, what's a logbook?

OPUS 7 and Shaggy Thank this.

So... declaring an entire thread stupid, and that anybody who knows anything knows it....kind of a super trucker statement, no?

No offense 6 speed. - I'm just having some fun.

Super truckers come in all shapes and sizes, and run for all sorts of operations, from mega fleets to small companies to being O/Os...

A super trucker is simply someone who's gone faster, driven more miles in a day, been wider, longer, taller, or heavier than you ever have been.

You could have been a driver at Premay on one of the 1million pound plus vessel moves, and he'll tell you about the time he moved an entire manufacturing plant on this special built trailer, musta' been 3-4 million pounds gross, did it with his '74 Peterbilt 359...

You coulda' been one of the bullhaulers who was running over 200,000 in a year (solo), and he will tell you about the year he ran for 300,000miles...

You could be hauling any of a number of government loads and he'd tell you about the time he hauled Reagan's body... special, off-the-books haul, full escort, only ran at nights, had to average 100mph...

At least that's what I consider to be a super-trucker.

One that sticks in my head is when a friend had me take his rig to a show (his wife wanted him to take the day off, he wanted the truck in the local show). Neat older Kenworth with a set of boxes, 6x4. A guy walked up and talked about driving a "6 and 5..."

That' a Super Trucker? Today I will leave Toronto, ON, fuel, clear customs, scale, get unloaded in Ithaca, NY then bounce to Dover, DE and fuel again. I guess that's only 553 miles....seems longer LOL.

Curious, when you pass a driver who is texting, or watching a movie... do you do anything, like blow your horn?
