Apparently that is no longer a qualifying factor for a CDL any longer. I learned that in the truck stop bathrooms. Talking on you phone while on the throne must be culturally appropriate where ever these drivers hail from!:confused:

It depends on your experience elsewhere. Today the weather looks good, but it can change very quickly. Colorado Dept. Of Transportation has a very good site at COTRIP.org with traffic cams for the entire route. Take the passes SLOW.. speed limits down are either 35 or 45 MPH on the down side of both passes. There are good emergency ramps on the downhills except for the last one coming down from Vail pass. You've got some one lane stuff there as well. Use the hell out of the jake to keep the brakes cool, and take your time. Once you are down the passes, you still have to get through Glenwood canyon which is down to one lane and an 11 foot width restriction in one area. Make sure you are good on fuel through Utah. There is a 100 mile stretch between Green River and Salina Utah with zero services you need to be aware of. You are still in mountain country up to I-15, and really until you get to Cedar City. From there you drop down to the NV line. Hope that helps.

Anytime. I think it was mentioned before, but If you are hazmat or over 13'11 in Hight, the trip will be 45 min longer because you have to go over Loveland Pass. Safe travels..

Do it during the day. It's pretty around there.

Once you see it then resume your being a possum.
