It went well. Easier than expected. Utah at night is scary though

That's the best time to drive Utah... I like driving across that state

Yup... they say the Ghost rocks move at night.
And the Dragon occasionally snacks on a truck.
    :)
Every driver through CO. should take Loveland pass at least once. It’s absolutely beautiful. Is also interesting looking way down on Eisenhower tunnel below you.

That’s good enough for Oregon and lesser requirements. But you’ll need one more chain if you go to Washington. 7 total. 5 on wheels and 2 spares. 5th is a “drag chain” on the trailer. Oregon requires two drag chains.
Be sure to have 2 rubber bungi’s per wheel.
I personally think drag chains are a good idea.

No...there are some drivers that should stay off anything other than a mid sized hill.
I always seem to encounter them on US160, both sides of Durango, US550, and on US97, around the Columbia River. I had one yell at me for going too slow Westbound after the Eisenhower tunnel. When I next saw him, he was smoking from every wheel end, and I might have seen a flame or two as I passed. He was already leaving a smoke trail before the first runaway ramp.

    Pamela1990 Thanks this.
