First time in port

Went smoother than a babys bottom. Im actually surprised how smooth it went.. Ended up not needing a twic car. I picked up an empty container at a container yard and took it to a warehouse down the street where my company had a loaded trailer already waiting and sealed up. traffic was not as bad as i had imagined up 95 just south of newark . i managed to avoid the 3 or 4 low bridges that were in the port area, i turned down a road that had a 12ft bridge but managed to find a trailer drop lot to spin around before i got to the bridge , thank god lol

But lets just say that ill stick with flatbed . i dont think i could deal with them container yards day in and day out .

other than that it was smooth sailing , now im set up for 2800 mile run to cali. yall be safe out there

 

It was off of avenue p if i remeber, somewhere back in there,i was more tucked back in the warehouse district, a little north of the main port area

 

I picked up from port logistic group . company had a loaded trailer for me waiting. Got in and out in about 15 minutes , super easy.

Yep thats exactly where i was at .. not sure id ever want to park there tho. Glad i had enough time on my clock to get back to amish country lol
