Canada is very exp,so if you smoke or drink soda.Buy them in the states. You're only suppose to have so many packs of smokes but back then bought them by the carton and customs never said anything. So I assume you're going thru Detroit?None the less try and pay everything the exact amt it cost otherwise youre going to get Canadian money back.I've been to Canada many times.

Diesel Fuel today on average in Ontario is $1.28 / litre or $5.85 CAN gallon or $4.85 US gallon. Thats pump price without discounts or fleet $.

And 1 VERY IMPORTANT rule in Ontario is ( use to be a warning now being ENFORCED )
Ontario’s Highway Traffic Act requires motorists when approaching a police, fire or ambulance vehicle stopped with its red lights flashing in the same direction of travel, either in a lane or on the shoulder of the road, to slow down and pass with caution. If the road has two or more lanes the motorist must move over into another lane, if it can be done safely.

    First Offence - $400 to $2,000,

Second Offence (within 5 years) - $1,000 to $4,000, possible jail time up to 6 months and possible suspension of driver’s licence for up to 2 years.
