Ok, take either the Goethels Bridge or Outerbridge crossing from NJ. Stay on I278, until 37th st, just a few exits. the exit is tight, so hug the left side. At the bottom of the ramp, take a right onto 4th ave, then a left onto 39th. Go to 14th ave, and take a left. Be prepared to double park. I used to deliver food that area. Key word is early! Good luck!

Correction, I thought you were going on 14th at 37th. 37th at 14th, you need to go to 16th avenue. Are you delivering to a house? That neighborhood is tough to drive in, but not a tuff neighborhood.

I was not going to bring up tough, tuff or slit your throat never come home again lethal... There are some difficult challenges among the peoples in that area among other problems. I used to carry a stack of 10 dollar bills to pay day time hookers to keep the street urchins from spray painting my rig on the curb while getting lunch. Ideally I should have all the food coming and going into NYC for a while but some of that street food is my weakness.

Not necessarily. It's more like what the sign shop had on hand at the moment. I've seen yellow signs that were actual height, and white ones that were not, in many places around the 5 boroughs. Do not take this for granted or you may wind up in an unpleasant situation.

That's the way it's supposed to be. I don't ring that way anymore.

On Grand Ave. near Western Beef in Ridgewood... yellow sign marked 13' 4". Should you stay or should you go? If you can fit, it's the easiest way back to Morgan and 278 from their back entrance. I decided to piss a whole bunch of cars off by trying it after I saw a local truck go across.

I pulled up, stuck my head out the window as the corner of the trailer came up... yep, couple inches to spare, lol, good to go.

I'd say that one is pretty close to actual.

I can tell just by looking at that one that he ain't gonna have fun with that one. That's not a great area to be dragging a 53 footer around in. Those Jew places are always a friggin nightmare to get into. I would have said thanks but no thanks. And I was backing in off the street into some little rat hole in downtown Long Island City yesterday so it's not like I haven't seen ugly. But that one he's got would give me the heebie jeebies.
