I had a car pace me as I was looking to move lanes yesterday. I'd just taken the 35E south ramp off of 20, and I know a couple miles up things get congested so I want over as quickly as I can. I was glancing in the mirror cursing about the stupid 4 wheeler, and when they finally got to my window it was a young mom with her 3-4(?)year old daughter. They were both arm pumping, and I swear the little girls arm was going as high as she could reach and coming down till the elbow hit the seat. I gave the shave and a haircut honk, and they waved and took off.
Few things on the road make me happier than the smiles we can create so easily, and it's a whole hell of alot better than what we usually feel like with traffic.blairandgretchen, kemosabi49, Nahbrown and 1 other person Thank this. -
I always enjoys seeing the kids faces after blasting the horn for them. If it makes their day better in any way I will always do it. Sometimes even the adults give me the signal and they get a kick out of it too. Always fun to see and make people smile with such a small gesture of honking the horn.
kemosabi49 and SoulScream84 Thank this.
