Sorry to hear L-Train. Sounds like my first truck years ago... (different company) Took me two weeks and two bottles of fabreeze to get the smoking smell out of it. Bought 2 rolls of paper towels and went through both just wiping down the interior. Ashes were everywhere including in the sleeping berth. At least they gave me a new mattress. Some people just don't care about their "homes."
I guess you could be thankful you didn't get the truck that was recovered out east that was going through Gary on Monday. Driver passed away in the truck. Recovery driver had windows down and was getting hotels along the way back to Marshfield. Not a nice thing to deal with, but I guess someone has to do it. -
YA! YA! YA! sounds like alot of B.S to me!! Levi39.

My first truck with my first company was a recovery and I made myself a cute hazmat suit out of garbage bags to drive the truck 200 milesto get detailed. The guy that had truck was pissed of at the company so I gues he decied to piss all over the truck and throw garbage everywhere. I took a whole day to detail and about a month for the smell to go away!!! I did get all my money back for the supplies I bought!!

If you have a smell issue in a truck, here is the trick to get rid of it. Buy ground coffee, put in bowls and leave in truck with windows closed. The coffee obsorbs the smells in a couple of days.
thelastrebel Thanks this. -
Yeah notez that works really well. When we get our RV out of storage in the spring that is how we get the smell out of that before we use it.
