Your choice. Pretty simple. I would recommend Paccar filters. As far as other maintenance, I have posted on this site multiple times about air management and DPF cleaning guidelines. If can't find, PM me.

I don't know where the oil temp is.. I haven't been in the truck long and haven't looked that closely..

When i first started driving this truck.. Oil would heat up faster then water.

Using a different oil seems to have cured that. Now the 2 are identical when warming up. But oil still runs hotter at operating temp.

When cooling down. Water cools down faster then oil..

When warming up. Water heats up before oil. Except for this engine.

I'm not real confident in the accuracy of the 2 gauges but truck isn't blowing up in the summer heat. So. It is what it is.

Fair enough, on everything ive driven water temp at thermostat and oil temp in oil pan so oilreads 50-75 degrees lower than water and oil above 165 is cause for worry

Ill butt out now. Was just curious

Oil temp sensor on MX is item 14 in picture, tied into oil module. Interesting one on Cats with ACERT didn't have sensor, just calculated value for ECM.
