If you get with the right company , you can make decent money .

The company I leased
My truck onto , had no requirements for the truck other than it had to have a current annual DOT inspection done in the last 30 days

they had their own freight contracts and their own trailers , and no company
trucks to complete against .

they ran local and regional .
I was home several nights a week and made decent Money with a cheap old truck.

I tripped over a nice cabover with the set back steer axle and air ride drives for next to nothing and ran it for years .
