Well, how did the first week go? Get any miles? How long were you laid over?
-
Honestly I’m pretty impressed. It went smooth as could be and drove from sc to New York and got laid over a day and half on sat to go from pa to Arkansas. First week right at a 1k miles and this trip to Arkansas is right at a 1k as well

What's their pay structure like and home time?
-
56 cpm loaded and 46 ? or 48 empty (I will check the little sheet they gave us). Pay is every Friday direct deposit. While in training it’s all $20 an hour for every hour you work. According to my terminal manager and most the guys from my terminal (all have been cool that I’ve met) it’s mostly 4-6 days out and back. Since I’m in training I’m in “the system” right now. Cool thing is you can stay gone a few days and come back or stay out months at a time (I am not interested in the latter). Get paid to stay in the sleeper but can stay in hotel every night and they cover it.sabresfan 76 Thanks this.

It is nice that they literally pay you for everything you do, break down, layover, waiting. It’s a great place to start at especially in my case my end goal is to have experience with tanks for when (if) oil prices go back up to go oilfield. Anything else feel free to ask.

Congrats on your new job. Getting paid for everything makes all the difference. Slow weeks can still turn into good checks.8590 Thanks this.

Superior is at the top of my list of companies to work for when I finish CDL school in December. Can you explain a bit about the hiring process?
- How much experience did you have when you applied?
- How long did it take after you applied before you were interviewed and hired?
- What is their pre-screening / pre-hire process?
- What's your home terminal?sabresfan 76 Thanks this. -
God, the split pay still kills me. Why not just say you pay .50 or .51 CPM and just be honest about it.
Intothesunset Thanks this. -
What is the weekly Gross for the drivers you have talked to?
