Sometimes hard to get into linehaul with no prior experience, but sure worth a shot!

    Best wishes,

Never heard of them at 'all' nor seen them. I'm a state away, and ... nada. Sorry. Maybe @Chinatown has? Not sure what you mean by 'split' shift, tbh.. keeping legal w/HOS and all.. how's that work?!?

ps: You should change the location in your profile to stateside nowadays, LoL....;)

2nd week of driving school completed and major problem !!!!!!!!!!!

I started doing my driving and backing today and realized I have a BIG problem with my left knee !!!

I know a lot of people have trouble with holding the clutch in and their knee gets a little sore
but I did fine driving and was complimented on my double clutch shifting and all was going well.
But then I started my backing practice and straight line was not too bad and off set was okay but by the time I got around to parallel parking my left knee was hurting so bad I had to keep putting the shifter in neutral and let off the clutch to stop the pain in my knee.

I knew it would be a little sore but I just had to stop, I never expected the pain to be so bad.

I have the next 3 days off and am hoping to figure out what to do. I paid cash for this school and don't want to quit and all they have are 10 speeds and I would be happy just to have a Automatic restriction if needed.

Unless I find a way to stop the severe pain I might have to give it up and I really don't want to do that. I was hoping to get a job with a automatic but wanted the manual endorsement also.

I had a cortisone shot in my right knee back in January and it seemed to help.

Has anyone else done the shot for this problem ?
Also any other ideas how to stop the pain ?

Other guys are saying their knee is sore but mine hurts so bad I get to a certain point I just cant go on.

    Any info appreciated :(

Try and stretch a little before you practice and if you can take ibuprofen that will help.

PAddywhack the other knee and it will be fine.

    =)

Anyhow. Real ID licensing is good for 8 years now. I don't know about CDL yet.
