Everything is going great!!! I'm actually at the shop tonight for a few minor things I've noticed over the past month. The guys are great. They would rather you come in for minor things than wait for them to turn major. I feel a lot safer knowing I can come in here and get things done without the worry of if they were fixed right.

I'm excited about seeing my first paycheck, too.

This week and last have not been great for me. I took home time last week to see my parents while they are visiting. I only had 2 loads that gave me about 700 miles. This week, I have not got any calls. I found out last time I was home that my area is not good for getting loads and getting back on the road. If nothing between now and Friday, I will most likely end up dead heading to another location and hope for something along the way. Other than being at home, my miles have continued to average around 1000 per week.

    Baack Thanks this.

wow. i am sorry you cant get a load out. hopefully you will find one soon so that you dont have to deadhead. what type of freight do you haul mostly? doesnt seem more than 2 pallets could fit in a 1 ton van.

The majority of my loads have been automotive. I can haul 2500 pounds, but so far my biggest load has been 1700. I spoke to dispatch yesterday and they are authorizing me to relocate, so with luck, I'll get something on the way, or once I get there.

How is your Expediting life treating you these days? Are you staying busy enough?
I am a wanna-be expediter. I have been thinking about it for years. I would love to get out there, but due to my financial situation, it wouldn't be possible at this time.
