    Thanks all.

As far as trip planning, I had some practice in school, and I get how to do it. Someone in the truck just actually has to DO it, and it helps me if that happens before the truck starts rolling. I also need to remember to drink more water so I stay healthy, sane, and comfortable.

Now that I've had a couple days to regroup, I'm actually looking forward to getting out on the road again.

    Things I took that I didn't need:
    -Computer
-Big over-ear headphones (I thought they'd work great for sound isolation, but they just amplify the vibrations from the APU)
    -Too many shirts

Things I didn't take with me before that I'm taking this time:
-Jetboil Java Kit and a bag of coffee
    -Prunes (yeah)
    -Advil
-Twin-size Duvet Cover (works great for covering the mattress on the top bunk)
    -Safety glasses

    jimboelrodou and Switcher Thank this.

Everyone is different when it comes to what they need in the truck.

My tool kit is more important than any creature comforts. Losing all trailer lights on the cross Bronx expressway has made me a believer in "never too many tools."

It's funny bc my "trainer" didn't even carry a flashlight, never checked fluids and lived by, "I'm not a mechanic. The company can fix their own ####."

If you drive to make money, you won't really have time for the computer. A TV might be a nice distraction to fall asleep to but a cell phone with Netflix works just as well.
