Hey!
I'll have you know I am perfectly capable of entertaining thoughts of grandeur, making somewhat questionable decisions, and of course, having a blast and enjoying myself (including making a fool of myself if the situation lends itself to the opportunity)..... while completely and absolutely free of any and all chemical additives..........

Now........ whoever is silly enough to come along with me may need something to get through it......... but I'm good!!!
AfterShock Thanks this. -
You're killin' me here!!

Hey! I was behavin' myself.....
..... didn't even mention other skills I just may have aquired during my long ago youth ...... it's not my fault someone forgot to tell me back then that I wasn't supposed to compete with the boys in EVERY area........ oh, well....... live and learn....LOL...... but it certainly has been knowledge well utilized in my adult life....... ya know, how do I say it......... playing in the boys sandbox for most of your life gives you a little added insight to work with...........

Competition knows no gender.
At least GOOD competition shouldn't.
I grew up showing horses, and competed with many young ladies, starting in the 12 and under classes and events, to 13 through 17 class, and at 18 -- into the Seniors.
Around 16, there was a noticed decline in male riders, --- mostly 'cause they sold their horses to buy a car.
The 16 year old girls kept their's because daddy provided their car, or the necessary transportation. And, as long as the guys had cars, what else matters?
Meanwhile -- the male/female ratio climbed to around 10 or 15 females to one male -- and SOMEtimes closer to 20 at the larger horse shows.
Call me a gambler --- but ain't those odd favorable?
When I ran gymkhanna, -- the timed, speed events, like barrel racin' --- it didn't matter to me what the other horses looked like, of if their riders floated my boat.
NopE!
All I was interested in was the stop-watch, or electronic timing device.
And the smaller number, down to the 1/1,000th -- wins the blue ribbon. , --- possibly for that cute non-rider watchin' from the grandstands.
And a TROPHY for high-point of the day?
Well,.............. y'all see where I'm goin' with this,............... right.
HaiL ---- after so many ribbons and trophies, they just become dust collectors. OR,
Treasures In The Attic.
Now, all that being said, ...... ALL I wanted to say is ---
some of my ALL-time best competition were female riders, and one in particular. Outside the arena we were pretty good friends.
INside the arena was another story.
And SOMEtimes, we'd be PO'd at each other for days.
But, we also kissed and made up ----
another reason to get PO'd again.
Constant competition.
Ahhhhh --- to be young again.
