They are cats c15 short block with navistars air ,fuel and after treatment systems.

 

Navistar used to build the c-15 block engine (15 liter), now they stopped producing to favor of cummins isx15 with scr.

Have you ever seen a maxxforce 15 or CT15? Under the navistar emissions and engine management they look identical to a C15. The head is the same basic casting but adapted for HPCR and the bottom end is the same as an acert just with pistons optimized for the fuel system.

 

Navistar is the engine supplier to cat trucks.

 

Wrong. Cat builds there own engines for those trucks. The engines used in the international trucks was a cat block with international fuel & electronic systems.

Max force is one the biggest POS on the road. My buddy works at the local international dealers in town. You have no idea the problems there having with these engines. Lawsuits are going on because of them.
CAts sdp was almost as bad.
