I added Hazmat to my Missouri CDL just to have it and it cost me a little over $70 for a re-issue so I'd say Florida ain't too bad.

yeah thats pretty good i paid5k at mine. place was a rip off. never go to "the cdl school" in miami. theres one in ft lauderdale called mc something. great school im told. cheap too. they take advantage of some gov grants or something. though they do have qualifications for the grants and probably make a #### ton from them. dont matter because i never heard a bad word about them. my school had 20 students and 3 trainers. and most trucks barely worked. and btw apply at armellini. great local company. pays top dollar 1k a week and your home weekly. just dont trust dispatch. they got big mouths. part of why i quit. but everyone else is solid.

Most every company will offer some type of reimbursement for your school in the form of monthly payments until your school loan is paid off. Most will also require some sort of contract when you drive for them if you choose to get reimbursed.

That sounds like a good course. In reality all companies care about is if your driving record is clean and if you have the license they want..

If you get your permit first, then take your Hazmat, doubles/triples, and tanker test when you go in to get your license, you don't have to pay the reissue fee.
