Some places will not load a flat floor reefer. If the product is on slip sheets for whatever reason no go on flat floor.

I've led a sheltered life again, cause I've never seen one with flat floor.

Or if chunks of wood are wedged in the grooves. When that happens it's hammer time and I don't mean wearing baggy trousers.

Saw a driver using one of those at the Robin Hood Truckstop in North Carolina. He sure left a mess at the fuel island.

Washouts were relatively rare in my time. Once in a while that empty has been somewhere smelly. And I show up to my Nemesis Kraft (Which is one reason I buy Kraft and pay a few more dollars for it...) and the nose knows it's not clean, washout time.

Anyhow. Kraft is a nemesis for another reason, yard jockey likes to nose that trailer into between two trailers leaving about a foot apart. If I want that load (And have the papers for it...) Im forced to do a side hook on with my tractor, something I consider incredibly risky. It's literally like trying to back onto and make contact with a deck of cards without spilling them off the table and all with the rear frame.

    QuietStorm Thanks this.
