When on the way to a job site, I encountered this scene.
The trucker can be seen on the right of the photo talking to a friendly police officer.

One thing that I can compliment the driver for his load securement. None of his stuff fell off the trailer.

He forgot the trailer was stretched out

You know, for the most part I keep my judgement to myself when I see photos like this, but I can't help but think if he hugged the left side of his lane an took up more of the street that he was turning onto, he would of made it. There's pretty large shoulder there too that he could of tracked his trailers tires over a bit as he was turning. It's not as if he was making a 90 degree right turn, off a small 2 lane rural road with zero shoulder and no room to maneuver. #### happens I guess.

Should have been carrying a winch.

I saw someone do that a couple weeks ago in Cambridge with a propane tanker. The ditch wound up turning him over.

I wonder, since he was stretched, then he was an oversize load and should have displayed oversize load signs?
