It's not a flatbed specific thing - just what the company has worked out with their insurance provider for age requirements.

    DrtyDiesel Thanks this.

I gotchya, I figured it most likely would be insurance.

Off topic, but Crete's hiring age is 22, if its because of insurance reasons, what would the difference between 21 and 22 make? or is it because they require a year of otr experience and you cant go otr unless your 21, so they just went ahead and set the hiring age to 22?

Just what they come up with. Might be for that reason or it might just be some quirk the company has.

True. Oh well. I tried applying for prime, just to get a pre hire, but since im not 21 yet, the online app wouldnt go through. Im thinking about printing one out if I can. Although I read something about they hate fat people lol. Im 5'7" 245lbs. Ive lost 15lbs since two months ago so im still going strong and trying to lose a little more :biggrin_25519:

Good job Drty! Be encouraged! I am 5'7" and weighed 190 at the beginning of July. I now weigh 160 lbs. and feel great. My wife(multi-time cancer survivor) lost 30 lbs., mom lost 25 lbs. and my landlord lost 30 lbs. in 2 months. All by doing what really works: Lots of fruits and Veggies( mostly organic, pesticide free, nutrient rich), rice, beans, lean meat (4-6 oz no more than twice a day), Cut out the sodas, beer(potato vodka is better anyway), artificial anything, bleached or enriched or fried anything. Read food labels and educate yourself on what you eat like it's your J-O-B. Eat out at Subway sometimes(and load up on veggies) and then eat whatever you want every few weeks( maybe on hometime). It just takes willpower to change looking at food as pre-poop and instead realize what you eat becomes who you are, how you feel, how your brain works and what your quality of life is going to be when you get older. Best of luck to you.
