Flatbed companies that hire from FL

I still have some time to decide so I am still looking for someone who currently drives for Cypress to make a thread or just give some insight....

 

You will NOT get a new truck.

They have a good safety rating,

and a lot of business/accounts.

I saw their facebook page and it had a lot of newish Prostars on there.....

 

Melton hires out of Florida, at least in the panhandle. I know this because I used to work for them. But, when I worked for them, I had to stay out 3 weeks because I live in Florida.

 

Yea I don't want to stay out that long.

 

If you get hired on by Cypress... You might want to go to Tallyrand armed! Friend of mine got robbed over there recently.

 

New drivers don't get new trucks unless you "know someone". Most newer drivers get the older stuff while the vets get to pick. When I say new I'm taking new to the company not new to trucking

Our terminal is also off tallyrand, not a nice place at all.

 

There is a reason JSO calls Jacksonville, "Jack and Kill!"

 

I live in Ocala, Fl. and I'm slated to start orientation with Melton in Feb.
