    Hand, honest talk...

Atlanta is a big town. There has to be a million local and regional companies in the north Georgia area. Walk in an office and talk face to face with the owner. Regional gigs wil get you home every weekend and once during the week.

Hey, I asking for some advice. Got my Class A CDL license in April 2012 and started training with Arnold but my wife and I hated the home time from each other and our boys and left them. I started training at ctl in July 2012 for a few weeks but it was over an hour to get there and run over night back and forth from mulbery, fl to tampa. I went back to school. Fast forward to now October 2016. Just moved to atlanta, ga looking for work. My wife and I decided may I should used my cdl and have weekly pay. My brother -in-law went into trucking and is at swift. I want to see if flatbed is a good idea? Also, I was thinking a dedicated route would be better for my family and I because I can be home on the weekends. We need Saturday and Sunday off. I know I need to train again. Just trying to figure out the best situation. Can anyone help me please? Thank you

I know but I have barely any experience. So I was wondering what is the best option for my family and me? I was told tmc is good. Are roehl flatbed good? Or cypress trucking line? Etc. Because I got my cdl back in 2012 and haven't really drove much at all. I need a job/ career with benefits for my family and weekly pay. Plus weekends off. Anyone know or can help me with some more info?

I lived next to newnan a while back. Look into McElroy Truck Lines. I worked for them for a while. Good outfit. Guaranteed home on Friday every weekend.

I posted the link to craigslist to show him that
    1. He doesn't have to go OTR
    2. There are regional jobs available.
    3. You do not have to deal with the bottomfeeder moron hiring outfits.

But you do have to take the iinitiative to find out what is available. But, you know what? I give up. I will just stay out of these type threads.
