Ok thank you. I am doing my research. You said McElroy. The owner is sda. I am sda too. I have to check it out. Do they hire inexperienced drivers like me? They are in the Atlanta area?

I will try either tmc or cypress trucking companies. Maybe maverick too. And see if there is any to decide from.

You're in the hiring area for McElroy. You can take the truck home or park it in a safe place on weekends. Yes, they hire new cdl school grads.Georgiacanuck77 Thanks this.

Ok, cool. I am not a new grad. I got my cdl back in 2012 with some training but stop due to hometime missing family. So it has been awhile. I know I have to train again. But they will still take me?
-
Are they a good company? I know nothing is perfect.
-
I don't know if they'll still take you. Western Express flatbed division has refresher if McElroy says you need it. Apply with McElroy and find out, then go from there on what to do.

Thanks for the advice and info.

the one time I didn't page you, you showed up lolw.h.o Thanks this.

TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this. -
I was wondering, I read that western express is not a good company. They are advertising on craigslist with no/little experience you can train and drive flatbed with weekends or weekly hometime. Are they good to go if I haven't really used my cdl that much since I got it back in 2012?
