I have been out of trucking for over ten years. I want to start pulling a flatbed again. Is there any flatbed companies that will hire someone with no recent driving experience ? Maybe someone who is self insured?

    Western Express...
I'm I the only one that wishes imminent pain, suffering and bankruptcy for anyone affiliated with these companies you constantly refer people too?
90% chance you are a recruiter of some sort getting paid to get new meat in the seat.
10% your just some weird dude sitting on a computer all day in mom's basement trying to drop the national unemployment...

This post -> Looking For Flatbed Company To Train With - he says he hasn't driven in 20 years.
This post -> Flatbed Companies - the same guy says he hasn't driven in 10 years.
So, instead of badmouthing me, tell the guy what his best option is to get back on the road flatbedding.

Don't come off with that old answer; "I ain't never been to trucking school and been driving since I was 6 mos. old" We all know that's BS coffee counter blabbering.

Do what any motivated intelligent individual would do.
Talk with local people that are in the business. Ask questions and listen. Follow up leads.
It ain't hard. Just takes time and effort...

I knew Wayne Wise, that started Western Express. He's now deceased.
I worked for him at another company he owned.
I know the reputation of Western Express and also know it's not for everyone, but does fill a much needed niche in trucking for some drivers.
