Went and looked at it again today. The one on the MAC is bolted to the cross members with Grade 8 bolts, 1/2" dia? The one on the Fontaine is is either pop riveted or has small Allen head bolts in it, small as in maybe 1/4". It is a little stronger than I figured after I went over it better, I just don't trust much that I can flex with my bare hand lol.

That's not bad for a sleeper.

I remember pulling a 45'x96" steel spread axle across a scale behind s Mack CH daycab about 16 years ago and seeing a reading like that.

That's only 500 less than my set up. Those w9s are heavy horses.

When I was researching flatbed I felt that the Wilson Road Brute Combo was an outstanding trailer. Not very popular but I feel it is one heck of a trailer.

Have 4 brand new Fontaine Revolutions All aluminum trailers 48x102. I like these trailers better than any I have ever had before. The rub rails are strong resists forklift contact. Also Has spots under the floor for your strap hooks to secure in trailer. Also the floor of the trailer runs side to side instead of front to back and forklifts do not stab into floor. 1998 Kenworth W900 with trailer weighs in about 31500lbs.

Man you could lose it trying to find the "BEST" trailer. Who makes the best one out there?

You can't go wrong with the MAC. I have one, your not going to hurt that flat bar underneath. I have the coil package on it. Mine only has a small arch but a 47000 lb coil doesn't flatten it out. Best trailer on the market imo. Mine has one on both sides so I can have winches on both sides if I choose. Also have a Great Dane combo with flat bar underneath and a Fontain Revolution 52. No place for a flat bar and it can be a PITA for oversize loads. Basically have winches on both sides and straps without hooks for strapped over width loads and use 4x4 dunnage and the chain pulls for chained over width loads. Like stated, I prefer the Mac over them all. Reitnauer is nice but would still choose the Mac.
