I dont like maverick cus I only qualify for glass division which I heard doesn't get enough miles. Also I dont want to lose the adequacy for general flatbed freight. And I don't like the auto trucks.
i tried Melton in the past. I think swift bought Melton out tho or is in the process of doing so so I'm not sure about them.
tmc is 23 years old minimum. Green tree only hiring contractors (but thanks for the recommendation, I never heard of em before)
I always heard smaller companies didn't have enough miles? Then again after working here , you never know. Do you know about any good ones you can recommend me?
flatbed direction help?

I dont like driving van too much, its less physical and waiting to get docked/loaded is a negative to me. Plus I'm used to the way spread axels turn so I like it better and already have my little "rhythem" for working. I get a van load every now and then and I don't like it

I'm also not too concerned about benefits or retirement packages (I actually dont even personally consider them)

Work for a small outfit that will pay you fair and not try to cheat you out of pay like the megas are known for and you can start your own retirement package. Control your own destiny.wyio Thanks this. -
Where/how do I go about finding a good one?

Swift shares a lot of contracts with Melton, mainly the chasis and vans. I think they started that 3-6 months ago. Everybody says they bought them out or are about to bur but haven't gone public with it yet. I dont know, probly just rumors
