If you can get really good at strapping and tarping, that is the key. I have gotten pretty good strapping, but I have not had to tarp a load yet, but I will this Tuesday.
My point is, that you are not putting down miles while you are securing the load, so the longer it takes you, the more money you lose. I don't get miles. I get paid a % of each load.
