ive been known to get two short runs in and get a longer one loaded up by the end of the day. Even so....if you only get two 400$ runs for 75 miles in in one day....your still way ahead as far as fuel and wear and tear

We loaded out of a rag tag outfit in Houston the other day. Told to load at 10a called at 9 to say we were on the way. They said uh catch some breakfast we're waiting on final paperwork, they'll call. Ate heard nothing, changed oil heard nothing, headed that way, wasn't too far.
Got there at noon was told everyone left for lunch and paper work wasn't done wud be ready at 1 wait around corner at little truck stop. Checked at 130 still missing paper. Finally got call at 4! Got there shipping girl crying said they were in the middle if switching over to new system and that was the paper work issue. Didn't get load paper work until 5 and loaded at 6!
