Well, I’m staying home this week, maybe next week.......nothing but mulch and lumber around Chicagoland.....steel has dried up, some insulation here and there but rates are useless......if I can build a round trip I’ll go out.
As of right now, flatbed freight is Dead.....go home guys.Nostalgic, Tug Toy, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -
Those are the unicorn loads for me. Every time they come up, the shipper and/or receiver hours make it impossible to turn 2 a day.Orange713, Tug Toy, RERM and 1 other person Thank this.

I smell a lot of cheap houses coming up in a year or so.
OLDSKOOLERnWV, ChevyCam, D.Tibbitt and 3 others Thank this. -
I seem to be doing fine. Might haul loads that need 8 foot tarps and weigh #45k but that dont both me. Certainly don't make as money as some of the hot rods pulling van on this site...
But... Atleast my hauls are consistent.
D.Tibbitt, cke and PoleCrusher Thank this.
