    I read it as $5k for the week doing <200 mile runs. Keeps ya hoppin, and only works when everyone cooperates.

    Pipe off the railroads. Each load paid $750-$950. I could 2 done a day which totaled $1500-$1900.

    Shippers pay these prices, skip the broker's and go directly to shippers

    Well, I’m staying home this week, maybe next week.......nothing but mulch and lumber around Chicagoland.....steel has dried up, some insulation here and there but rates are useless......if I can build a round trip I’ll go out.

    As of right now, flatbed freight is Dead.....go home guys.

    Those are the unicorn loads for me. Every time they come up, the shipper and/or receiver hours make it impossible to turn 2 a day.

    we have 2 company driver , trying to keep them moving every day , some shipper dont want to work with small carriers , for those saying " I WoRk WiTh DirEcT CiLeNts "

    Lumber. Riverdale to Garden City Kansas. 98 cents a mile. Oh but it’s no tarp !! It got moved for that price

    I seem to be doing fine. Might haul loads that need 8 foot tarps and weigh #45k but that dont both me. Certainly don't make as money as some of the hot rods pulling van on this site...

    But... Atleast my hauls are consistent. :dontknow:
