    Wow I just got an email from LoanDepot. i refinanced with them for 80k around 3 or 4 years ago, when i paid it down to 40k they sold the loan to Chase. which i just paid off in full this March. Today Loan Depot sent me an email "we accidentally shredded your loan document. Please schedule a time with our notary to resign the new loan document." Not kidding, they want me to sign a new document saying i owe them $80,000 to help them "get things in order."
