How do vynal tarps get soaked? Are you in australia running canvas tarps or something? Lol
-
I have one four footer and two eights that have the cloth sides, and when they get wet they get very heavy, they absorb alot of water. I will never buy tarps like that again.
critters Thanks this. -
heh, they get soaked early in the winter and stay rolled up until summer?
-
not truck stops....CASINOS! Had an open headache rack. Was up around black river falls and bought a 3 door enclosed clear down to the frame for $175. Bought my next headache rack from a Landstar driver, 3 door, almost new, not even scratched on the inside, a lumber tarp with flap, and 4 of those 13000 WLL 3/8-1/2 inch yellow binders with the fold down handles for, are you ready for this....$300! Sold the old 3 door rack for $175 to a friend.
When you get next to a casino, keep a grand in your pocket and your radio on.critters Thanks this. -
Hopefully my stuff is sold. Will know for sure in an hour or two if he shows up or not. Sucks i have learned to have such little faith in people
critters Thanks this. -
you should try a rain soaked 30x40 canvas tarp.
-
Is there a purpose using canvas over vinyl?
-
No. They use them in australia. You have to lay out plastic to keep the water kff then the canvas and they tie them with rode, no tarp straps. few things smell as bad as old, wet canvas too.

Would someone post a pic of a tarp extension? I hear a bunch about them, but I've never gazed upon them. Google failed me.
I'm assuming that my portables can be used upside down when I need to tarp?
