Looking for a flatbed company that has a reasonable lease purchase option with the ability to choose my schedule/pick my loads and run 7 days, and be off 3-4 (I have family medical obligations every other week for the foreseeable future) maybe some local loads.

I'm currently a company driver, but the money is not very good where I'm at (less than 900 a week) But I'm very limited on company jobs I can have due to my weird schedule accommodations. I don't mind running. I'd stay out weeks at a time if I could. So either this, or being an O/O (leased out to a carrier) is my best options for flexibility. My money situation is not bad. I don't have any debt, my total bills every month are around $1300, credit is over 750.

I currently have over a year of experience, I have all my endorsements (including Hazmat) and no restrictions. So feel free to drop whatever companies you all like! Thanks all for the help

I ran for dsv road transport out of missoula montana... I have no idea if they offer the lease purchase anymore.. i was successful with it and know other guys that were as well.. that said i would not recommend it, you will be money ahead buying a truck and leasing on... They were a decent company when i was with them. You can work with whoever you want and run your truck however you see fit.. i left there end of 2021 , dont know how much things have changed since then

    Thank you buddy

yeah I’ve been debating on going back and forth with buying my own truck and leasing onto Mercer (since that would help a lot of the overhead cost) or lease purchase. Still just reviewing my options right now. My job currently just isn’t sustainable, I can’t even put money into 401k or insurance because I’ll only get like $400 a week lol

What is your location? if you want to get into the business and want to do flatbed, mercer is an option, so is landstar, admiral merchants, dsv, and a whole list of others . Just spend some time doing some research

They have some nice new flatbeds,$775 a month and $130 for their insurance.
Best if you owned your own equipment already.

Yeah Mercer is who I want to go to eventually. The plan is to buy the truck soon, just making sure I get a good deal and good condition truck that’s not breaking the bank.
