    So build one!
    Got less than 2k in mine. We did an extensive couple threads on this awhile back. I'v been doin this since 2000. :)

    Nah, I've read all the threads on the home built APU's and its just not my thing. If I do buy one, it will be a TriPac and done. I don't have time to mess with the Honda gensets and rooftop crap

    I must say, i absolutely love my setup. The EU series is a LOT quieter than anything diesel, and a fraction of the cost. I didn't want to lose an ounce of space under the bunk, so the Tripac etc was never an option for me. Not to mention keeping my empty weight way down for pulling the heavy stuff, thus lining my pockets quite nicely.
