Its going to depend on what your truck and trailer payments and maintenance are. You are doing about 150k miles a year, if all that is 1$/mile, your pay is 75,000 cad, but im also assuming you also need to pay taxes on that, so at 30% (no idea if thats accurate in canada) you end up with 52,000 cad a year. Thats doable depending on cost of living, but doubt youll be saving much of anything
Don't listen to all the nay sayers that have never owned a truck and have no clue what it costs to run/own one..If your making $162.00 per mile AFTER fuel, plates, insurance,IFTA etc I'd say your doing much better than most guys are today.
But I still have to pay for tructor trailer Mortgage,Tires,Oil change,All the repairs From 1.62 cad/M
Wear on the equipment… Everything on the rig will break in time. Calculating for that should be part of your plan. Doesn’t look good.
Sp those numbers are AFTER all the deductions? That's your "to the truck" money. Or that's BEFORE all the deductions?
In Canada that’s a excellent cpm after fuel and insurance etc .. most don’t make that pre fuel due to stiff competition from team trucks that never stop using driver inc personal.
