Im a independent out of East Central Indiana with a flatbed and maybe a stepdeck here soon

Cluck Cluck--Your location would work for us. Our biggest customer just gave us a large rate increase that will result in great rates for Ind Cont. We would prefer you to pull our trailer so you have the most load options. Our step decks have low deck heights to accomodate the cargo we haul, and we are seeing more RGN business all the time. check our website www.papetransfer.com. Call me to discuss any questions you have.

Cpape, just read about one of your owner operators in overdrive, pretty awesome he is owner operator of the month. Congratulations to you guys and him
bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
Thanks...he is a great guy. Very involved with his family and church. The article didn't stress that quite as much as I had hoped. Bryan is a great example of someone that achieves balance between being an OTR driver and having a family life. We are hoping he wins owner operator of the year for 2011.

That would be awesome, I loaded/unloaded next to some of your drivers the last couple weeks, all good guys and very easy to talk too
-
They are great guys. I think of our drivers as the best trucking has to offer. They are family guys. The normal middle class working guys. I couldn't be prouder of them.
Van drivers have been enjoying the transition their side of the business has been going through. Regional work. Very few broker loads. Almost always preplanned with the next load before empty.
Open deck is ready to go crazy. More work than we can handle. Rate increases all over. No sitting around. It is going to be a great year. -
Thats good to hear cpape, were really busy ourselves too

freightlinerfever--we have a driver running under his own authority working with us. He averages 1.41/mi on all mile over the last 4 weeks, and is getting 2500 mi/wk. That is loaded and empty based on HHG miles. Are you doing that well with Hybrid?
-
4 weeks ago our contractors averaged 1.68/mi on ALL MILES. This includes stop pay, OD, FSC, etc, and is based on HHG miles. We just got a big rate increase from our largest customer. On many lanes this will be .50/mi gross. 1.68/mi does not include this rate increase. This will be a great year for our contractors. We want you to pull our trailer, but will consider contractors with a trailer. It is time to get compensated for what you do out there.
