Flatbed/Open Deck/Machinery Haulers

    I used to haul steel and where we live it is imperative to be able to load and unload in Baltimore. I do not know what the steel haulers are doing now since the mill closed I would assume the are deadheading back to Pittsburg or Wierton Wv to load

    Baltimore,Norfolk ,Charleston Savanah are all good for us over here

    Grove and JLG are not that far from us either but I do not know if the rates are any good or not.JLG is only 29 miles north of us and grove is about 50 miles from us.

    cpape- i am a steel hauler living in nw ohio and looking to go to a co that will allow me to see a little more than oh-mi-in. have been to port in baltimore several times with other co. r u still looking for co drivers in this area?

    forgot to ask do u require od exp? have alot of overweight exp hauling 85k worth of coils but no od exp

    To be honest, I am not sure. We have most of our trucks full and we are getting close to winter. On the flip side, you live in a good area for us and have the kind of experience we look for. We would definitely review an ap if you want to put one in.

    Sorry I havent responded in awhile, clearly i missed this post but things are going well, I have a driver now that runs a dedicated hopper gig to the east coast and back every week and I bought a flatbed which isnt quite panning out like I thought it would but what do you do.....Hope everything is well on your side of things! Also will you let drivers run under their own authority pulling rgn for you?
