West Texas is tough unless you have someone who has steady runs for the oil filelds. General flatbed freight coming out of there is either cheap or dead. You might want to expand your work area to whole Texas and LA,

If you don't mind staying in West Texas there's probably a lot of pipe to be moved.
Otherwise, there's a lot more flatbed loads going to West Texas (oilfield equipment) than coming out of there (maybe pipe, drill collars, or bits heading to Houston).
