Really? I just backed into a spot at the Loves in Albert Lea, MN. Took me a lot less time and pullups than the 2 van drivers i waited on to finish before i could start. A decent driver is a decent driver. No matter what trailer they are pulling. A driver who needs more practice or training will make that obvious if you watch him or her. A driver who has it pretty much figured out will make that obvious too. Go look at my earlier post about getting most of your turning done before starting into the hole, due to tailswing. Often, people just think flatbedders cant back and are doing it wrong because they are wrong. Different trailers react different and take a different approach. Just because you dont understand the approach being demonstrated doesnt mean its wrong. And to all you newer guys...it does not matter how many pull ups it takes. It doesnt matter what Billy BigRigger in the next truck thinks. It matters that you get out and look more than ypu think you should, and that you do not hit anything.Keith Lindsay and beastr123 Thank this.
