Just getting by on your good looks I bet. Getting all the bikini models to pose on the various trailing units associated with your rig
#LIKEABOSSOxbow, tsavory, Hurst and 1 other person Thank this. -
Hasn't been even a single load to call on and be insulted by the rate since last Friday when I was offered 95k for $3/mile
Ruthless Thanks this. -
Lol "one pick one drop" tho

Speaking of mile linits, how many hours a week do y'all work on average?
When I start to push 70, I get tired and burnt out. I don't know how people do that week in week out. 55-65 seems to be the sweet spot for me. -
I work about 9 hrs a day whether I'm driving or on my trailer ...somtimes less lol
tsavory Thanks this. -
750 miles to Los Angeles. 52 hour round trip. twice a week. That's 55 mph. Lazy union workers. and 50 million dogs on the freeway.
Flat bed rental generally runs $180 per week. So, $400 per month is a cheap price. Don't know about how much that extra 6% woould wind up costing though. -
Not sure I understand 100%. So your saying you log 104 hrs driving time each week?
52 hrs to do 1500mi (round trip) or 52 hrs oneway? I just did a run fron Eglin afb in Niceville, Fl up to Chicopee, Ma to another base up here. Roughly 1400mi. 23 - 24hrs drive time. Nice casual 65 - 68mph most of the way.
And you prefer the west coast why?

That's 52 hours total time. Has nothing to do with logs. And i have no choice on the west coast. It's where i live and work. And well, I like my hometime. Tuesday night, Friday night, and Saturday night.
Course, i hate california. NOW, if we went to phoenix, this gig could be a monday through friday ordeal. With full weekends off.
It's not impossible to drive 750 miles, unload and reload. Regional flatbeds do it all the time. California, however, Is a CHORE on it's own.
And for the east coast. I can't STAND the humidity.
