Flatbed Purchase!

I haven't fooled much with aluminum, but if it's anything like steel, you can tell by the bead that who ever did that doesn't know how to weld. My 12 year old daughter can run a better bead.

 

Spool gunning aluminum is a little different and the weldors skills werent the issue here at all, he is good but a 100amp wire feed machine is for whipping out chinese toolboxes and extruded window frames not 1" thick trailer flange repair.

The mistake was the decision of the owner to hire this type of fast cheap easy on site mobile repair to survive just a few more turns, then just a few more turns and a few more turns. Now it needs even more than if done right from the start. In bossmans defense, he doesnt know a tig from a twix and is a good person. No ones perfect.
