Flatbed/Step deck

Something also to keep in mind, I'm not sure if your truck is already outfitted with flatbed equipment. But keep in mind it will add to the empty weight , and if u add a headache rack as well.. tarps are about 300 pounds total... depending how much equipment u carry it will add up 1.5k or more on your empty weight...
not a huge deal..
my blue 386 pete was 33k with a 48ft combo and full of fuel and equipment... got turned down some places because I could only load 47k

 

As already said, your securement is going to add to that weight, 53' all aluminum flat full of securement 12 chains 14ish binders, about 30 straps of all kinds, tarps, just a normal headache rack I was right at 32 or a little over.
