What would you use a flatbed STRAIGHT truck for? (Other than cars) is it hard to secure loads? And is it all year?

I am not sure I understand the question? A flatbed is a flatbed, right?

I have seen tandem, triple, and quad straight flatbeds! They ain't hauling cars!

Well I mean not a tractor trailer.

Usually only see tow trucks use flatbed straight trucks, ocassionally forklifts on them

lumber yards use them for home deliveries. i worked for Lowes a few years back, i also had the moffitt truck on the back.

yes, with tilt beds, and ramps, they can haul cars.

I have hauled coils, bars, sheets, plates, equipment, manufactured steel parts, bags stuffed with rubber scraps, lumber, drums, machines, and oversized loads.

If it is 29k or less and it fit$ I will run it!

Depends on your contract. If thats what you agree to do.

In most cases I would think no. You make your deal coming in the door.

You need to know what you are getting into and how much you need to cover your expenses and turn a profit.
