    Most flatbed receivers are open bankers hours, and a lot of shippers aren't open 24/7. You won't gain much advantage running team unless you are doing coast-to-coast runs or have some sort of gravy train pin-to-pin operation.

    That, and a lot of flatbed freight tries to maximize gross capacity, so if you run a high-rise sleeper with two people's supplies and equipment, you'll be sacrificing 500-1000 lbs of payload space.

    The only real advantage a team would have in flatbed is folding tarps and rolling straps goes a lot faster.
