Our trucks with disks and durabrites still clean up well from 2013. The trailer has polished Alcoa from 2014 have had to be acid washed and are dull.

We truck in the Midwest and the owner would rather the drivers never wash them but I'm impressed with the durabrites. I bought regular polished for my old truck but the upgrade on his new truck was only like $450 for all 6 wheels.

All that other stuff sounds good too though!!!! Lol

The have disc brakes on all 10 axles and would never order a piece of equipment without them again.

I run weights much higher than your trailer will see but the stopping power is fantastic even for me. My trailer has over 150k miles on it and the discs and pads look brand new. I was told to expect 500-600k before any works needs to be done on them.

Mind if I ask what manufacturer you have?

I really like the idea, but after being told that parts are not in stock at most normal suppliers due to so many different designs and constant changes I've started rethink.

    I'm probably over thinking it.

The best part of having sliding winches is the flexibility, you can always add more.

    What's a 3 bar winch? That's a term I never heard, and/or something I've never seen.

Rather than the small slot to put the straps through there are three pieces of round stock welded horizontally in a triangle pattern. They are great for straps with frayed ends or straps that are frozen. Kenedyne makes them.
