I just want to know who wants to work so many hours a week anymore. Even the 60-70 rule is a lot. Especially without time and half.
MartinFromBC Thanks this. -
that's the difference between engine model year and truck model year. It's been like that for 60 years.

Did the OP ever get a truck or start a fleet?

I kind of figured that might be the case. Whenever I come across really interesting threads, that are several years old, like this one that doesn't have an outcome, I like to ask the OP to see what happened. Haven't found 1 yet that replied yet.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
You know what happened. “Successful” businessman, loads of cash. Can buy any rig he wants, looks at you and me and automatically assumes that he is smarter, therefore will automatically succeed where we all fail. Looks deeper into it and all he sees is roadblock roadblock roadblock roadblock. Eventually, self preservation kicks in and he decides to sink his money into another business that pays and doesn’t require as much time. An owner operator is going to work on average 100 hrs a week (driving, truck maintenance, home maintenance…etc.).Bean Jr., beastr123 and exhausted379 Thank this.
